To honor and remember “Mother Mary”
…. for Mary
On a Monday morning in January, the Boys lost their Mother Mary, and Uncle Tim and Auntie Danielle lost a lifelong friend.
Mary was the steady heart of her family. To her boys, Bones& Scotty, she was simply “Mum” — the one who showed up, who loved fiercely, and who made ordinary days feel safe. She carried the quiet strength that mothers so often do, offering guidance, comfort, and a love that never wavered.
To Tim and Danielle, she was more than a friend. She was a constant — someone who shared years of laughter, hard times, and the kind of easy loyalty that only true lifelong friends know. Her presence made gatherings warmer and silences impossible.
Though she left us on an unsuspecting December morning, the warmth she gave remains. In her boys, in the stories still told, and in the lives she touched so deeply.
Mary, you are remembered with love. Joey and I thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the gift of Bones&Scotty. You are missed. And you will not be forgotten.
“…This was a very Happy day! It was the happiest I’d seen her in a very long time...”
“Aedh Wishes for the Cloths of Heaven”by W.B. YeatsHad I the heavens’ embroidered cloths, Enwrought with golden and silver light, The blue and the dim and the dark cloths Of night and light and the half-light, I would spread the cloths under your feet: But I, being poor, have only my dreams; I have spread my dreams under your feet; Tread softly because you tread on my dreams
